I love this vintage looking new image from OrgJunkie. I think I like it so much that I may use it every week.
Monday – Garlic roast chicken with Saffron orzo and green beans
Tuesday – Waitrose’s Moussaka ( bought on markdown £2.55 for a large one) and salad
Wednesday – Duck breasts (another Waitrose’s markdown) with 5 Spice, roasted butternut squash and purple sprouting broccoli
Thursday – Pan fried Sea Bass (on special offer at Lidl £2.99) with rosemary new potatoes and more purple sprouting broccoli (I got a huge bag for £1 at the market)
Friday – Homemade pizza with roasted vegetables, goat cheese and mozzarella
Tip of the Week – always spare a few minutes when passing a Waitrose. They are very good a marking items down; they usually do it a couple of times a day but never on Saturday. I make a special detour to one that is never busy which means very good markdowns. If you are interested, and in London, it is the one in W2.
Hi — I came here via Menu Plan Monday 🙂 Looks like you’ve got some great food on a frugal budget. The duck breast and pizza with goat cheese sound especially delicious. Have a great week!
