Menu Monday 17th October 2011

It is finally feeling like autumn here in London so I am excited to get back into the kitchen. I love it that there is still lots of summer produce still around so depending on the weather we can eat summery or more hearty.

Monday – Pork chops with roasted apples and squash

Tuesday – Out at a Meetup so will bring a sandwich

Wednesday – Chicken Thighs Braised in Garlic and White Wine with a crisp green salad

Thursday – Chorizo, vegetable and pasta bake – the recipe is from Waitrose but it will be even cheaper if you get your ingredients from Lidl.

Friday – Panko shrimp cakes with Sriracha aioli – again frozen shrimp from Lidl.  Boy I love that shop.

Over the weekend I will compare making a quiche to buying a pre-made one.  Watch this space.

  1. Thanks for commenting. If you make the pork chops, make sure you get quite thick ones so they don’t over cook and the butternut squash cooks enough.
