I woke up feeling great this morning. You ask why? I did pretty much nothing over the weekend except my usual market shopping and inforced rest. I made myself take a break because the past two weeks have been super busy and very stressful. It is amazing how much better you feel if you take a bit of time out.
Monday – Pasta with leftover meat sauce from last week – dining alone as my beloved is going to a gig.
Tuesday – Sausages with various salads – probably giant couscous will feature.
Wednesday – Roast roots with toasted cobnuts – we bought some cobnuts in the market last week so I am looking for recipes to use them in.
Thursday – Onion squash with blue cheese risotto – bounced from last week and I grabbed a giant slab of Dolcelatte at the market on Saturday
Friday – Carbonnade: Belgian Beef, Beer & Onion Stew with mash and peas.
