Today started extremely well, I have a new job and all my trains worked but then disaster happened – our flat flooded. Luckily my beloved was there to try to sort it out so tonight will be all about cleaning up. Waitrose to the rescue – they are doing a third off their fresh ready meals.
We don’t have ready meals that often but with flat flooded and a lot of cleaning up to do sometimes you must give yourself a break.
Monday – Dinner by Waitrose
Tuesday – Spanish rice and prawn – one pot
Wednesday – Pasta with fresh tomato sauce, prosciutto and mozzarella
Thursday – Cheeseburgers with latkes and salad
Friday – Onion squash with blue cheese risotto – this was so lovely we are having it again.
