Oh my goodness! It is only 12 days until Christmas and the party season is in full swing which means I will be eating mostly out of the freezer. It would be a waste to plan to make big meals and not be at home to eat them. It is also very important to have food available in the fridge that is easy to warm up after late night shopping or work drinks. The other week, I made a huge amount of slow cooker black beans which are very versatile and easy to warm up. Good luck with one of the most hectic weeks of the year. Tomorrow I will be writing about easy gifts to make, please drop by.
Monday – A friend is coming through London so I am having the wonderful treat of eating out.
Tuesday – Quick ham and cheese omelet with salad before the London Blog Club
Wednesday – Rice and beans before doing the Brompton Fountain Craft Fair in South Kensington
Thursday – Sausage and butternut squash bake – this is my first night at home this week, I am so excited!
Friday – Another night home – honey chili chicken thighs with rice and beans
Saturday – if the Christmas fair goes well, we will be having steak (yum!) if it doesn’t it could be rice and beans again. Fingers crossed for the fair to go well.
Have a great week and I hope it is not too hectic for you. If you are in London, please stop by the Brompton Fountain Christmas Fair on Wed.
the sausage bake sounds good as does the chicken thighs 🙂
Hi Dellene, thanks for taking the time to comment. I can send you the sausage recipe, if you would like it. It has become one of our favourites this winter.
