Menu Monday 14th September 2009

vintage wood kitchen

There is a definite autumnal breeze zipping through London this week.  I am quite sad to say goodbye to summer but overjoyed at the amazing bounty I have to choose from at the market.  I bought so much this week, I could barely carry it home.

Monday – Leftover Ratatouille (made so much I will be eating it all week) with chicken breasts and rice

Tuesday – Roast chicken with nectarines cooked in a claypot.  Served with couscous, fine green beans and sweet corn on the cob. Contact me if you would like the recipe.

Wedesday – My beloved is playing a gig so I will catch a bite with the band.

Thursday – If it warms up a bit, I will make – Fig, Serrano ham and Gorgonzola salad

Friday –   Linguine with Pancetta and Sauteed Cherry Tomatoes, this is super easy and the reason I alway have Pancetta cubes in the freezer

Saturday –  Homemade chicken Madras curry with lots of vegetables and rice. Made with leftover chicken from Tuesday.

Sunday – Mystery food as I am hoping to be taken out to Sunday Lunch
