This week I am joining the fabulous Penny Golightly for Tenner Week. Which means I will be using the Living Social deal, I bought for my beloved’s birthday in August, clearing out the freezer and using up what we have so we don’t need to buy much. The slow cooker will be working a lot too.
When you participate in Tenner Week, you should have three goals – one big one and two smaller ones. My main goal for this week is clean and organize the walk-in closet in preparation for a big eBay sale. My smaller goals are a bit more fun – read a novel since I can’t remember the last time I did and take inventory of the food in the flat.
Monday – Pasta with fresh tomato sauce, prosciutto and mozzarella.
Tuesday – A very last birthday dinner for my beloved – Living Social voucher
Wednesday – Slow cooker red wine short ribs with mash
Thursday – Oven-fried Sriracha chicken – not sure what I am serving it with.
Friday – Slow cooker butternut squash, sage and parmesan gnocchi

That gnocchi sounds really good. Yum! 🙂
