Here at The LeanTimes, I know time is money which is why I was so keen to review the book Simply Wonderwoman. Joanna Gosling, is a lady with a lot on her plate: husband, kids, and a pretty big job as a journalist and presenter.
One would think with all that going on in her life, she would go out and hire help. Instead she wrote this great book that is filled with easy solutions to life’s little problems. Joanna’s answers are all very common sense based and when you read this book, I promise you will slap your head and say ‘why didn’t I think of that?’
Some of the problems that Joanna takes on are: how to organize yourself by always carrying a pen, a notebook and your diary. If you write it down your won’t have to rely on your memory as all the information is in the notebook or diary. Have a place for your keys either on a hook or in a bowl – say goodbye to running around like a manic before leaving the house.
I am very happy to say that Joanna is singing from the same hymm sheet regarding house cleaning as I do – use white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda for a majority of cleaning. She also gives some great tips on keeping house broken down by rooms. She even has an easy way to clean the oven and everyone hates that job.
The second part of the book is a bit more fun as in not about chores. Joanna gives a millions of ideas from home DIY to beauty DIY. I am not going to tell all her ideas because this is a book you should really look at.
This would be a great Mother’s Day gift for any busy lady. (Hint hint)
